Island is first for X-Mile fuel - see video

Drivers in Jersey are the first in the British Isles to be offered a new fuel which it's claimed halves vehicle emissions.

X-Mile is already popular on the continent and is now being sold in St Brelade. Enjoying a love affair with their cars - most drivers wouldn't be without theirs, yet at the same time we're all becoming more environmentally aware.

X-mile has already asked the Planning and Environment Minister Freddie Cohen to support the new fuel and has now decided to make Jersey the centre of its business operations. The idea of being able to fill up with X-Mile - a fuel which can apparently cut harmful emissions by half - had to be put to the test.
